Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how DGG Productions Ltd ("DGG Productions", "we", "us") uses personal information when you visit dggproductions.com or contact us. We are based in Manchester, UK, and we are the data controller. Contact us at info@dggproductions.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us: your name, email address, company and message when you email us or use a contact link, plus anything else you choose to tell us.
- Email sign-up: if you join our mailing list, your email address, the date and time you signed up, the page you signed up on and your IP address (as proof of consent). We do not ask for your name.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type and the pages you visit. This is handled by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver and secure the site.
- Advertising measurement data: only if you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API record page views and clicks (for example visits to an artist page, clicks on a link to a streaming service, or clicks on our email address). This uses your IP address, browser details and the Meta cookie identifiers described in our cookie policy. We do not collect names, emails or payment details through this.
How and why we use it
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Replying to enquiries about licensing, collaborations, bookings or press | Legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract |

| Keeping a record that you unsubscribed, so we do not email you again | Legitimate interests and legal obligation |
| Running, securing and fixing the website | Legitimate interests |
| Measuring and improving our advertising with Meta | Consent (you can refuse or withdraw it at any time) |
| Meeting legal, tax and accounting duties | Legal obligation |
Our email newsletter
If you sign up, we will use a double opt-in: we send you an email asking you to confirm your address, and you only join the list once you click the link. We send marketing emails only to people who have agreed to receive them. Our emails are sent through MailerLite (MailerLite Limited), which stores subscriber data in the EU and tells us whether emails were opened and links clicked so we can see what people like. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing info@dggproductions.com. We will stop emailing you straight away and keep only your email address on a suppression list so you are not added again by mistake. Unsubscribing does not affect any order you have placed.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Google Workspace (email), MailerLite (our email newsletter, only if you sign up), and, only with your consent, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement). Some of these providers are in the United States. Transfers rely on the UK-US data bridge, UK international data transfer agreements or similar safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for up to 3 years afterwards. Newsletter subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe, after which only your email address is kept on a suppression list. Subscribers who never confirm their address are deleted within 30 days. Advertising data held by Meta is kept under Meta's own retention rules. Accounting records are kept for 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, object to our use of it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (use "Cookie settings" in the page footer for advertising cookies, or the unsubscribe link in any email for our newsletter). To exercise a right, email info@dggproductions.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
